Ukraine’s Kakhovka Operational Grouping of troops posted a video on their Facebook page in which one of the invaders says that the Ukrainian Armed Forces "broke through the first line of defense."

Ukrainian war correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko then reported that the head of the joint press center of the Ukrainian military’s South Operational Command, Nataliya Gumenyuk, had confirmed reports that the Ukrainian army had forced the “109th Regiment of the DPR” to withdraw from their positions.

The DPR is short for the Donetsk People’s Republic – a sham statelet set up in part of Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast by Russia in 2014, and supported since then with arms, supplies and money.

Other recent reports said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed almost all bridges in Kherson Oblast, cutting off Russian invasion forces from their weapons and personnel supply from Ukraine’s Russian-occupied Crimea. The only way to cross the bridges now is by foot, reports say.

Gumenyuk previously reported that after accurate strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kherson Oblast, the invaders had refuse to go on the offensive but were remaining on their fortified lines.
