  • Toyota announced that it will unveil a 2020 Toyota Supra 3000GT concept at SEMA next month.

  • The concept sports four cutouts with vents on the hood, wide fenders, and a huge rear wing.

  • Performance numbers haven't been announced, but we can expect them to be released at the SEMA show.

The 2020 Toyota Supra has already won a spot in our hearts as a competent sports car, and in Japan, TRD offers performance styling parts to make it even better. And we sure hope these parts make their way to us soon. But now, while we wait, we have something else to look forward to: TRD has released a teaser for a 3000GT concept.

The concept shown in the teaser photo will be fully unveiled at SEMA next month. It has four cutouts on the hood with vents behind them, wide fenders, and a massive rear wing. All of which look as if they were removed from the legendary 3000GT from the 90s and slapped right onto the A90 Supra.

TRD has yet to release any performance numbers for this concept yet, which is expected given this is just a teaser, but we’re pretty sure that they’ll enlighten us at SEMA. Aftermarket tuners have already been able to squeeze crazy performance numbers out of the 2020 Supra’s 335-hp inline-six, and we hope that TRD will do the same with this concept.

For now, we can only wish that Toyota will put this concept into production and let Supra owners in the states outfit their Supras with the TRD performance styling parts. We just want to be included for once, and we'd hate to miss out on a chance to drive an even more powerful Supra.
