GMB's Sean Fletcher apologises after "embarrassing" Nigella Lawson blunder

Good Morning Britain presenter Sean Fletcher has apologised after making an "embarrassing" error on the show.
On today's (December 10) episode, Sean and presenters Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins chatted about Nigella Lawson's rather strange pronunciation of the word microwave that has gone viral.
However, as they discussed the topic of mee-crow-waa-vays microwaves, Sean noted that the Welsh word for the device is 'pippety pong', before later realising he had made a grave error.
Charlotte told viewers: "Unfortunately, a few moments ago, Sean informed everybody the Welsh for microwave was pippety pong. Sean, would you like to explain yourself?"
Sean then clarified: "It's actually popty ping. I'm so sorry!
"I've been inundated with Twitter messages," he added. "Can I just point out that I have learnt Welsh. My wife is a Welsh speaker and my wife's family are Welsh speakers. My father-in-law is a Welsh professor, so I learnt Welsh when I lived there."
"So it's even more embarrassing," Ben then quipped.

This isn't the only blunder GMB has suffered lately, as last month the morning show accidentally broadcast a rather rude word among a wall of anti-Trump signs.
Presenter Richard Gaisford later said to viewers: "Apologies if you saw something inappropriate on an earlier broadcast."
