Brody Jenner says he and Liam Hemsworth are basically “like brothers” now
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s split just seven months after they tied the knot took pretty much everyone by surprise. But you know what else might take everyone by surprise? The fact Brody Jenner and Liam are now basically "like brothers", at least according to the TV star.
Following Miley and Liam’s split, the 'Mother's Daughter' singer swiftly went on to hook up with Brody’s ex Kaitlynn Carter, who he had only just split from.
During a recent radio interview, Brody opened up about the drama and his new-found relationship with The Hunger Games actor.
"I just heard Chris Hemsworth got himself like a massive new house, see if you can try to get a tour, I’ve been trying to get access," radio host Smallzy said.
Brody told him, "Yeah, Liam. Liam and I are like brothers now. I’ll hit him up when I’m down there, for sure."
“It’s very weird. I don’t know how that works,” Smallzy replied.
The Hills star then went on to give a majorly glowing shout-out to the Hemsworth brothers, saying: "I’ll definitely hit him up while I’m down there for sure. Honestly, the Hemsworths, those guys are… I know a few of them personally and honestly, what an incredible group of guys. They’re such a great representation of Australia and people down there, they’re such great guys."
We wonder how Miley feels about this (if she cares at all) after she publicly roasted Brody on Instagram while she was still dating Kaitlyn? Brody had cracked a joke about "holding hands" with Liam a day after the pair were pictured kissing on a luxury holiday in Lake Como.
"Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today," he wrote, before hitting his own comment section to add, "Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon."
But Miley clearly didn’t see the funny side of the situation and clapped back, "Go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer."
Miley and Katilynn split after a month of dating, with reports suggesting the singer, who is now dating Cody Simpson, didn’t want anything serious.
A source told People at the time, "Miley doesn’t want a serious relationship... She and Kaitlynn spent every day together and it just wanted anything that Miley wanted to continue doing. She wants to focus on her career."
