The 2021 Latin American Music Awards took place last night in bold fashion, bringing back a traditional red carpet with a social distancing twist.

Taking to the red carpet in glamorous fashion was Mexican singer Ana Bárbara. The 50-year-old personality wowed in a dramatic gown courtesy of Monsoori; the black number featured voluminous puff shoulders, a cinched waist, an elongated train and a bold high-leg slit to finish.

On her feet, the “Bandido” singer tapped Peruvian designer Flor de Maria Rivera for a set of sky-high heels. The lifted black sandals highlighted a crystal-adorned ankle strap with a coordinating cross-foot hold, all balanced atop a 4-inch heel. You can shop the style for $315 on the brand’s website.

Also in attendance at last night’s show was none other than Carrie Underwood. The singer, who performed her bilingual duet “Tears of Gold” with David Bisbal during the show, took the red carpet in style with help from designer Iris Van Herpen. The country star modeled a gown with the standout brand’s signature touch: mind-bending prints and patterns; this particular number comes from its spring ’19 couture collection and features waves of warm tones with cutout paneling.

As for footwear, Underwood then elevated the look further with a set of platform heels. The sky-high pair came set atop a lifted toe with a matching stiletto heel to tout, appearing to measure over 5 inches in height.

The Latin American Music Awards honor the best in Latin music from artists across the globe, hosted this year by Jacqueline Bracamontes in Sunrise, Fla. Performances last night included Pitbull, Anitta, Ricky Martin and more major names with Bad Bunny winning Artist of the Year and Nicki Minaj winning her first Latin AMA for her duet with Karol G.
