  • Salma Hayek, 54, just shared a flawless no-makeup Instagram selfie.

  • The actress keeps her skin glowing and clear with rose water, serums, and sunscreen.

  • She also makes homemade facial masks with oatmeal, almond milk, and honey.

I don't know what your weekend plans were, but actress Salma Hayek spent hers showing off her natural glow. The Like A Boss star, 54, shared a gorgeous no-makeup photo to Instagram, and her skin looks flawless.

"#selfiesunday,"she simply captioned the post.

So, what's the secret to Salma's seemingly effortless glow? The Bliss actress likes to keep her skincare products minimal and usually starts her day by moisturizing.

"I dot on some rose water, then moisturizer, and I never use sunblock unless I’m going in the sun," she told Harper's Bazaar. More specifically, she likes to use "a mix of serums and oils depending on my skin that day," she told NYT. Her go-to oil is one from her own skincare line, Nuance, which launched in partnership with CVS in 2011. As for serums, she’s a fan of the Biologique Recherche Grand Millésime and Sérum Précieux by Anne Semonin.

The Roads Not Taken star doesn't wash her face in the morning, but instead prefers nighttime, something she learned from her grandmother.

"I never cleanse my skin in the morning. My grandmother taught me that at night, your skin replenishes all the things you lost during the day. Also, if I cleanse very well at night, why would it be dirty when I wake up?" Salma told The New York Times.

And if she's feeling it, the Oscar-nominated actress will make a homemade mask from scratch using a little oatmeal, some water or almond milk, and a bit of honey. "You let it soak, and it’s a great cleanser that makes your skin very soft," she told NYT.

She also keeps exfoliation to a minimum. "Exfoliating a lot may make you look good in the short term, but not I think in the long term," Salma told NYT.

And according to Salma, she also hasn't had any injectables or fillers. "I still have not done any Botox, fillers, or peels. Nothing. Sometimes I think I should do something, but I don't know what...I wear makeup sometimes, but not to take my kid to school," she told Harper's Bazaar.
