Seth Rogen appeared Wednesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and discussed recently attending Adele One Night Only. The actor, who was heavily featured in the televised event revealed that the concert was much more than he expected. Rogen attended the concert under the pretext that it was a small and intimate performance. He had no idea it was a televised special being hosted by Oprah Winfrey. To make matters more interesting, he and wife Lauren Miller were very high on marijuana.

“I had no idea I was attending the taping of an Adele television special at all,” Rogen said. “And then me and my wife were like, ‘OK maybe [we can] slink into the background? You know, like we'll just sit in the back and it's fine. We are not equipped mentally to deal with doing this right now.’ So we go up to the desk, they give us our tickets and our seat numbers literally are 1A and 1B. And I'm like, ‘Oh, no! Doesn’t get any bigger!’”

Apparently, being high and in the front row of a televised performance by one of the biggest music stars was stressful for Rogen.

“The whole time I just tried to look cool, which is not a healthy thought to have,” Rogen said. "And for me at Adele — it was hard for me to look cool because I'm uncomfortable. I'm too close. I feel like Leonardo DiCaprio behind me thinking like, ‘Did Seth Rogen write “Rolling in the Deep?” Is that why he's so close?’”

Rogen's befuddlement continued as Fallon pressed the issue. In fact, he came right out and asked the singer why he was there.

“Do you know Adele?” Fallon asked Rogen.

“I've never met [her], no!” Rogen exclaimed, “I don't know Adele! If Adele, you're watching this, why did you do that?”

Rogen was not sure why he was seated in front of celebrities like Drake and Leonardo DiCaprio. He did admit that many of his friends reached to congratulate him and Miller for their memorable performance during the concert, which received record views.

“Everyone I know watched it,” Rogen said. “I think it's the most popular thing I've ever been in in my entire life. Like, there's people I know who have not watched my last five movies who have been texting me, being like, ‘You were amazing at that Adele concert. It looked incredible!’”

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
