Fox Nation host Britt McHenry, 33, reveals she has a brain tumor

Britt McHenry, a contributor for Fox News and host of Un-PC on Fox Nation, announced Thursday she has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. She tweeted "surgery is imminent."

McHenry, 33, revealed on Tuesday she had a MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) on her head and neck, but didn't divulge details. The following day, she announced she got "good [and] bad news."

McHenry, a former ESPN reporter, joined Fox News as a contributor in July 2018. In December 2019, she sued Fox News Channel and her former Un-PC host George Murdoch, known as Tyrus, alleging sexual harassment, gender discrimination and retaliation.

"I am standing up for myself, for women and for what’s right," she tweeted at the time.

The television personality called 2019 one of the "hardest" years of her life.

McHenry has received well wishes after her health revelation on Thursday. The View co-host Meghan McCain tweeted, "Sending love and strength Brit. Please let me know if there’s anything we can do."
