  • Today on Instagram, Zendaya posted behind-the-scenes photos from the Bulgari Mai Troppo campaign.

  • The glamorous shots feature the Euphoria actress in a black velvet gown with tulle ruffles on the sleeves while on set in Rome, Italy.

  • In February, Zendaya was named one of the new ambassadors for the luxury jewelry brand, along with Naomi Scott, Kris Wu, and Lily Aldridge.

Zendaya took to Instagram today to share some never-before-seen snaps of herself on set for Bulgari's Mai Troppo campaign.

The Euphoria star, who was announced as one of the 2020 ambassadors for the luxury jewelry brand in February, wore a fitted black velvet dress featuring a mock turtleneck and dramatic ruffles flanking her sleeves. Of course, it's not a Bulgari campaign unless there are diamonds. So Zendaya flaunted the sparkling jewels with a thick necklace and stud earrings. In one of the flicks, she's captured in a courtyard, presumably in Rome, Italy, where the campaign was shot.

The other 2020 ambassadors include Naomi Scott, Kris Wu, and Lily Aldridge. In mid-February, the brand released the Mai Troppo campaign (calling it "a celebration of the joyful exuberance of Bvlgari and Rome") with the all-star cast.

Chief executive officer Jean-Christophe Babin explained why these stars were selected as ambassadors for the brand. "We decided for the first time to have a man as the protagonist for this campaign and had gone through a roster of very complementary talents," he told WWD. "Zendaya is epitomizing the Generation-Z spirit, Naomi Scott is British and Indian—it's this combination that is evidence of the diversity of Bulgari. It's not a brand only for Americans or Chinese. It's a global economy with global diversity and we are acknowledging the universal appeal of the brand."
