Zelensky Urges Ukrainians to Shelter as Strikes Target Power Supply
President Volodymyr Zelensky urged Ukrainians to seek shelter and warned of more strikes after a series of missile attacks on Ukrainian cities on Tuesday, November 15, according to a local reports.
Zelensky said 85 missiles were launched at Ukraine, mostly targeting energy infrastructure, Ukrainian Pravda reported.
Ukraine’s state-run power company, Ukrenergo, said energy infrastructure across the country had been damaged in another “large-scale missile attack,” forcing them to cut power in part of Kyiv to maintain the system’s stability.
“We will restore everything, we will survive everything,” Zelensky said in his video address.
The strikes came several hours after President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the G20 summit via video link from Kyiv, where he said Ukraine should not be asked to compromise its “conscience, sovereignty, territory and independence” to end the war.
