Your presence is requested as holidays are near and Christmas festivals and parades are making a comeback in the Upstate.

After many cities cancelled their parades in 2020 because of COVID-19, cities across South Carolina have lifted restrictions and are bringing back Christmas parades — though masking is still recommended.

Here's a list of upcoming parades and festivals in the Upstate.

2021 holiday parades and festivals

  • The City of Greenville Poinsettia Christmas Parade, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m., at Downtown Greenville

  • Spartanburg Jaycees Christmas Parade, Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m., at Downtown Spartanburg

  • The City of Anderson Christmas Parade, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m., at Greenville St.

  • Annual Easley Christmas Parade of Lights, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m., at Downtown Easley

  • Light up Landrum Christmas Parade, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m., at Downtown Landrum

  • Christmas in the Country Fork Shoals Christmas Parade, Nov. 28 at 3 p.m., at Downtown Fork Shoals between McKelvey Road and Cedar Falls Road.

  • Pacolet Christmas Parade, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m., between Pacolet Elementary and T.W. Edwards Center

  • Mauldin Beachin' Christmas Parade, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m., at East Butler Road.

  • Town of Duncan Parade, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m., at 121 S. Spencer St.

  • Kringle Holiday Village, Dec. 11 and Dec. 12, times vary, at Fluor Field

  • Liberty Christmas Parade, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m., location to be determined.

  • Greer Christmas Parade, Dec. 5 at 2:30 p.m., at Poinsett Street and Memorial Drive

  • Simpsonville Christmas Parade, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m., at N.E. Main Street and S.E. Main Street
