Wossman boys basketball tops Bossier, will play for first LHSAA championship since 2008
LAKE CHARLES – The Wossman boys basketball team will play for its first LHSAA state championship since 2008 after beating Bossier 56-46 Thursday in the Class 3A semifinals.
Scoring 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter sealed the win for the Wildcats (31-6). The Bearkats fell behind 15-1 in the first quarter.
Albert Shell led the Wildcats with 14 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Patrick Williams was right behind him with 13 points and seven rebounds.

The Wildcats will play Madison Prep in the championship game on Saturday at 2 p.m. The last time they made it to the final, Wossman lost to Bossier 62-61 in 2020.
