This Wilmington family competed on 'Family Feud' 5 times in a row. See how they fared
In May, “Family Feud” got a dose of Delaware when a Wilmington family competed on the popular game show.
The Fletcher family from Wilmington, consisting of 10 siblings, initially appeared on “Family Feud” alongside Steve Harvey on May 16.
Lisa, Annette, Margaret, Debra and Joan were five of the eight Fletcher sisters competing on the show to bring home a win and honor their late mother who died in 2001 from scleroderma.

If the Fletchers could win five episodes in a row, they would go home with the bonus round winnings from each episode and a new car.
After winning during their initial appearance, the Fletchers continued to dominate the game, beating other families in episodes airing on May 17, 18 and 19.
In their fifth “Family Feud” appearance on May 22, the Fletchers went head-to-head with the Church family, who took the reins on this episode.

The Fletchers came close to beating the other contestants during the final question round, but the Church family beat them to it, winning the episode and moving on to the Fast Money round.
Although the Fletchers lost the final showdown and didn’t come home with a new car, they still made out with $41,415 from their four episode wins, including two trips to the Fast Money round.
Despite the loss, the Fletcher family told Delaware Online/The News Journal previously that the most important part of the experience was getting to embark on the journey together, knowing they were honoring their mother and would be able to use their show winnings to work on their dad’s home.
“We did our best to represent our family and the memory of my mother,” said Lisa Fletcher. “Doing that for her, it just brought us closer. Through the show, it was something to unite us as a family.”
