Don't call Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons' newly-reconciled fling serious just yet. Us Weekly reports that Jenner and the 23-year-old NBA player are still both free to date other people in their current arrangement. Us' source wouldn't even call Simmons and Jenner officially boyfriend/girlfriend again.

“Kendall and Ben are not officially back together,” that source said. “They both like having a no-strings-attached type of relationship with each other, for the most part. They both work and travel frequently and don’t find it very realistic to be in an exclusive relationship with one another. They do really like each other though and love spending time together.”

A source also told Us that despite Simmons' on-off status in Jenner's life, the model's family likes him. They just don't want her to get too attached to him.

"Her family likes him and have just advised her not to get too close or fall too hard for him because they don’t want Kendall to get hurt like some of the other girls in the family have in the past," the source said.

At the end of January, People reported Simmons and Jenner were dating and hanging out when they could. But that outlet's source also described the arrangement as liable to be on-off again.

“Kendall always liked Ben,” the source explained of why they keep going back to each other. “They always have the best time together. They are dating and seem happy for now. They have both had a lot of time to see each other.”

Yet "as soon as they get busy with their careers, it kind of fizzles out,” the source admitted. “But for now, everything is great.”
