Why draft prospect Treylon Burks sees similarities with Tennessee Titans' A.J. Brown
INDIANAPOLIS – Former Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks on Wednesday agreed with sentiments that his game is similar to that of Tennessee Titans star A.J. Brown.
Burks and Brown are comparable in size – Burks is listed at 6-3 and 225 pounds; Brown is 6-1 and 226 pounds – and Burks has a physical style as a wideout that has reminded many draft evaluators of Brown.
“There are some comparisons in that just by body structure, how big we are, how fast we are,” Burks said at the NFL Combine. “I’ve watched him along the way (and) my college career.”

Burks added that he’s also watched a lot of film of the Titans’ Julio Jones, especially in how he runs slants as a bigger receiver.
Burks recorded 66 catches for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns for Arkansas last season. He’s projected to go in the back end of the first round of the draft, where the Titans are slated to select. Tennessee owns the 26th pick.
Wide receiver could be a target for the Titans’ top pick. General manager Jon Robinson told The Tennessean last month that the team needs more depth at the position.
