That's what LSU baseball first basemen Tre Morgan did to keep the Tigers tied with Wake Forest in the College World Series. Morgan charged in on a bunt by the Demon Deacons when they had runners on first and third, and he then laid out while getting the ball to catcher Alex Milazzo. Milazzo got the tag down on the runner, who also tried to go all out for the play.

The play was reviewed but was upheld after a short period. LSU and Paul Skenes forced the next batter to fly out to end the inning and go into the bottom half with the score tied at zero.

The game is tied at zero as two of the best pitchers in the nation, Skenes and Wake Forest's Rhett Lowder faced off on the mound. Skenes has gone eight innings with nine strikeouts, while Lowder went seven innings with six strikeouts. They combined to allow five hits and three walks on the night.
