Vote: Who is Taunton Daily Gazette Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 19-25
TAUNTON — Vote for your favorite athlete right now.
The high school winter season is underway for Greater Taunton teams.
Every week during the school year the Taunton Daily Gazette will hold a vote for the Player of the Week.
Bridgewater-Raynham's Ja'saun Jean-Pierre took home the honors of basketball player of the Week for Dec. 9-18 with 22% of the vote. The Trojan star netted 15 points against Xaverian in the season opener.
Bristol-Plymouth's Tucker Bumila placed second with 18% followed by Taunton High girls star Kameron St. Pierre with 13%.
This poll, which ends on Jan. 1, involves boys and girls basketball players.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Trent Santos, Taunton
The senior scored a career-high 41 points against Sharon.
Faisal Mass, Taunton
The senior scored 14 points against Sharon.
Windston Legentus, Bridgewater-Raynham
The freshman scored 11 points against Westwood.
Tucker Bumila, Bristol-Plymouth
The junior had 30 points and 17 rebounds against Holbrook.
Rian Pontes, Dighton-Rehoboth
The senior scored 16 points against Fairhaven.
Nick Antonio, Dighton-Rehoboth
The senior scored 12 points against Fairhaven.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Natalia Hall-Rosa, Bridgewater-Raynham
The sophomore had 15 points, four rebounds and three steals against Bishop Feehan.
Fiona Kelly, Bridgewater-Raynham
The senior had eight points and six rebounds against Bishop Feehan.
Megan Faria, Bristol-Plymouth
The senior had 18 points and four assists against Holbrook.
Ella Damon, Dighton-Rehoboth
The junior scored 19 points against Fairhaven.
Briana Malaguti, Dighton-Rehoboth
The senior scored 18 points against Seekonk.
Caroline Reed, Dighton-Rehoboth
The senior scored 11 points against Seekonk.
Note: Taunton girls basketball did not play a game during the week of Dec. 19-25.
