LaBrecque voted Daily Tribune's Preseason Volleyball Player of the Year

CHEBOYGAN – Inland Lakes junior outside hitter Brooklyn LaBrecque has been voted the Daily Tribune's Preseason Volleyball Player of the Year.

During a voting period that started on Tuesday and lasted until Thursday night, LaBrecque earned 24.94 percent of the vote. In second place was Cheboygan sophomore Presley Chamberlain, who claimed 20.58 percent of the vote.

Nearly 3,000 votes were cast during the voting period. The poll officially closed at 11 p.m. on Thursday night.

Cheboygan Daily Tribune Athlete of the Week polls will begin next week.
