Meet the Battle Creek Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Oaklawn Hospital.
Each week during the high school sports season, we will ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week in all the spring sports, taking a look at events from Monday-Saturday.
Make sure to vote early and often for your pick, as the winner will get an Enquirer Athlete of the Week T-shirt. Fans can vote for their favorite athlete until Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Jake Kucharczyk
Lakeview Baseball
Spartan catcher Jake Kucharczyk helped Lakeview win a district title with a big day at the plate in a 13-2 win over Jackson Northwest in the district finals. Kucharczyk had a two-run single in the first, added a triple and a run scored in the second and finished with an RBI in the fifth.
Madison Bilbia
Gull Lake Girls Soccer
Madison Bilbia had a hat trick as No. 9-ranked Gull Lake defeated Harper Creek, 6-0, in a Division 2 district championship game in girls soccer. Bilbia scored the team's first two goals in the first 20 minutes and later added a goal on a penalty kick in the second half.
Joey Mario
Harper Creek Boys Golf
Harper Creek's Joey Mario qualified as an individual for the Division 2 State Golf Finals after shooting a 78 at a regional at Coldwater Golf Course. As a team, the Beavers shot a 332 to finish fifth. The Division 2 MHSAA State Golf Finals will be at Frankenmuth.
Andrew Berryhill
Lakeview Boys Track
Lakeview's Andrew Berryhill won his second straight state championship in the shot put with a throw of 58 feet, 0.25 inches, outdistancing second-place Gerald Capaccio of St. Joseph. Berryhill was hoping to sweep the throwing events, as he went into the state finals as the top seed in both the shot put and the discus. Berryhill finished All-State in the discus as well, taking fifth overall.
