'Vanderpump Rules' star Ariana Madix to join 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 32
It's official: "Vanderpump Rules" star Ariana Madix will compete on Season 32 of "Dancing with the Stars," she announced via Instagram Friday.
Madix and Derek Hough, a longtime dancer and recent judge on the competition show, posted identical videos to their Instagram accounts announcing the news.
In the video, Hough comes to the reality TV star's Something about Her sandwich shop and finds all of her menu options are dance-themed. "All the sandwich talk is making me think about 'Dancing with the Stars,' and I think you'd be fantastic on the show. What are you doing this fall?" the dancer asks her.
"Let's do it!" Madix responds.
The full cast of the new season, hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and newly-minted co-host Julianne Hough, will be announced at a later date. The dancing competition show, which solely streamed on Disney+ for Season 31, will return to ABC while continuing on Disney+ this fall, streaming next day on Hulu.
Madix became a household name earlier this year after a cheating scandal between her ex Tom Sandoval and her "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Raquel Leviss.
The reality star broke her silence on the alleged affair for the first time in March.

The support surrounding her gave the reality star "strength to continue and see me through my darkest hours," she said.
"To say I have been devastated and broken is an understatement," Madix wrote in an Instagram post. "However, I know that I am not in this alone." Referring to her "VPR" co-stars, she added, "so many of my closest friends are also grieving this loss right now and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels."
Madix reunited with Sandoval for a heated "Vanderpump Rules" reunion. Sandoval attempted to apologize to Madix, but the reality star was not having it.
"He has victim-blamed me 100% of the way, so I don’t believe anything that just came out of his mouth," she told host Andy Cohen. "I think he’s (expletive) full of (expletive), and he can (expletive) off."
