Twix Cookies and Creme Ice Cream Bars Are Here and They're Too Good for This World
Update, May 20, 2020: Mars officially released its Twix Cookies and Creme Ice Cream Bars nationwide, which means we can devour them all summer long.
The frozen treat inspired by Twix's cookies and creme candy bars was spotted back in January. It's made with creamy vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate cookie pieces and topped with caramel and more crunchy chocolate cookies. The whole thing is, of course, covered in chocolate like the candy bar.
The bars are available nationwide at grocery and convenience stores to buy individually or in multipack boxes with a suggested retail price of $4.29.
To make the release even sweeter, Mars is giving away some of the ice cream bars for free this summer. The company encourages fans who want a chance to win to post on social media using #TwixIceCream for consideration. May the odds be ever in your favor!
Original post, January 9, 2020: When news hit last year that a Cookies and Creme Twix would be returning to shelves after a decades-long hiatus, we were pretty stoked. Now, not only are Cookies and Creme Twix hitting shelves this month, but they'll ALSO be joined by Cookies and Creme Twix Ice Cream Bars.
The bars were spotted by Instagrammer @tmc_reviews at their local 7-Eleven. The bars are filled with vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate cookie pieces, and topped with caramel and chocolate cookies, which is then covered in a chocolate coating.
Since cookies and cream is such a popular ice cream flavor, and Twix ice cream bars already exist, this kind of seemed like a no-brainer, we're just SHOCKED that it all happened so quickly.

As for how it tastes? Well, it got rave reviews from the Instagram account. First off, @tmc_reviews said they were really surprised by how large they were. They also raved about how good they tasted, obviously.
The combination of textures going on in every single bite is fantastic, you get the creaminess, gooey, crisp, extra crunchiness...well done Twix," they wrote.
People couldn't help but be a little jealous in the comments.
"WOOOOOOOWWWWWW," one person wrote. "They should’ve been only ice cream bars from the get go 😂" another said.
Check the freezers at your local 7-Eleven to see if you can get your hands on a bar. Comments also mentioned that the bars could be found at some CVS locations, so who knows where they'll pop up next?
