Twitter's new CEO Linda Yaccarino has seemingly had one of her tweets framed at the company's HQ, following in Elon Musk's footsteps
A Twitter employee shared a photo of Linda Yaccarino's tweet framed on the office wall.
The tweet was her response to a Wired article which said she was "teetering on the glass cliff."
Last November, Elon Musk had a joke about putting cocaine in Coca-Cola put on display as well.
Linda Yaccarino, the new Twitter CEO, has joined Elon Musk in having one of her tweets framed on the office walls of her new company.
That's according to a photo, which appears to be of Twitter's San Francisco headquarters, shared by an employee on Wednesday.
The Yaccarino tweet in question was in response to a Wired article – "Linda Yaccarino is teetering on the glass cliff" – which suggested her appointment was indicative of a pattern where companies in crisis appoint women to take over.
"As someone used to wearing 4 inch heels, let's be crystal clear: I don't teeter," Yaccarino tweeted May 24.
And either she or some other Twitter employee must be quite proud of this retort, because it's now been put on display in the headquarters.
It looks like it's framed on the same wall where Elon Musk had one of his tweets put on show last November.
Namely, his joke from last April when he first offered to purchase Twitter: "Next I'm buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in."
In February, Musk called this "my finest work" and even suggested he wanted it on his gravestone.
Although several users had already come up with this joke, even photoshopping fake Musk tweets before the real billionaire posted it himself.
The staffer who shared the image of the original framed tweet then confirmed to Insider it was in a prominent location near the dining area, meaning everyone in Twitter's San Francisco office would see it.
Insider contacted Twitter for comment. The company responded with an automated message that didn't address the inquiry.
