Transformer Explosion Lights up Sky During Winter Storm in Northern Nevada
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for Gardnerville, Nevada, on December 31, warning of heavy snow and difficult travel conditions.
Footage by Colin Mathew Neumann shows a transformer explosion lighting up the sky in blue and pink. Neumann told Storyful that he saw several flashes in the sky as the power went in and out.
