Tornadoes Barrel Into New Iberia, Louisiana, Causing Severe Damage
At least two tornadoes touched down in New Iberia, Louisiana, on Wednesday, December 14, causing significant damage to a hospital, downing power lines, and leaving people trapped inside their houses, according to local authorities.
This footage, shot by Matt Hebert from his office at South Lewis Street and East Admiral Doyle Boulevard, shows a tornado moving northward.
A shelter and command post was established at New Iberia Senior High School, Captain Leland Laseter said in a video message posted on Facebook.
