Tom Holland's Uncharted movie has now been pushed back
Sony Pictures' big screen adaptation of popular video game Uncharted has received yet another push back.
Starring Marvel Cinematic Universe hero Tom Holland, this Indiana Jones-esque blockbuster has lingered in development hell for what seems a whole lifetime.
According to Deadline, the release date has now been moved from December 18, 2020 to March 5, 2021.

Uncharted, which will see the Spider-Man actor portraying treasure hunter Nathan Drake, is one of the most up-and-down projects you're likely to find.
It's had its fair share of directors in and out of the door since the video game rights were snapped up by Hollywood - most recently Bumblebee's Travis Knight, who was preceded by 10 Cloverfield Lane's Dan Trachtenberg among others.
Holland's last couple of years have been peppered with project delays; his Chaos Walking adaptation - directed by The Bourne Identity's Doug Liman - received negative test screening reactions and was forced into reshoots last year.
Lionsgate chief executive Jon Feltheimer previously explained: "We wouldn't be shooting more if we didn't think we could make this movie work."
Uncharted is currently pencilled in for a March 5, 2021 release date.
