The season kicked off Sept. 27 with 18 total castaways – 17 new contestants and one returning player, all vying for the $1 million cash prize and the title of Sole Survivor.
The first episode of season 45 was tumultuous for 33-year-old therapist Hannah Rose, who quit the show during the season's first tribal council, meaning her fellow tribe members didn't cast any votes.
