Every cat breed has unique physical traits worth loving. Scottish fold cats are famous for their folded ears (hence their name) while exotic breeds like Savannah cats sport gorgeous spots. But have you ever seen a cat with a curly coat?
Selkirk Rex cats are just one cat breed that boasts wavy and curly coats. We did a double-take when we saw @rockinwithrocky's throwback video on TikTok, because his coat was just so curly as a kitten! He really is the cutest ragamuffin we've ever seen.

Aww! We're nearly squealing over baby Rocky--he's just so cute and curly! It's rare to see cats (let alone kittens) with curly fur, so we're still taking it all in. And so are all of his social media fans.
In fact, viewers are having a ball comparing this tiny fluffball with other fuzzy-looking items. @Catinhuman skin thinks that "He looks like those blankets that are super soft and become all knotty after washing." We can totally see it! Rocky is rocking the frizz, even if he does look a bit like a plush throw.
"He’s so scrungly and looks like a piece of the blanket came alive," agreed @poisonous_kisses. LMAO! That sounds like the origin story of a scraggly kitten superhero, and we are totally here for it.

He's such a beautiful boy! It's easy to see the kitten in his features still, but we hope his coat stays just as curly and cute as he grows even bigger. Rocky's owner will have to brush this kitty quite often, but that's a fair trade for such beautiful, defined curls. Any person with a curly hair routine will tell you--it's a lot of work, but it's so worth it.
