'That's a Real Skylight!': Large Hail Causes Major Damage to Arkansas Home

Significant damage was reported in parts of Garland County, Arkansas, on Wednesday, June 14, after a severe thunderstorm produced large hailstones and strong wind in the area.

Footage captured by Macy Layne Muncrief, who said she recorded it in Hot Springs on Wednesday evening, shows significant damage around her home and to her vehicle.

“Woo, that’s a real skylight!” she jokes in the footage, as she shows one of the smashed skylights in the home.

Repairs to vehicles, residences, and businesses throughout the county could extend into the millions of dollars, according to local reports.
