The very first game I covered with @CallerSports was Calallen-Medina Valley in the playoffs in 2015. I remember realizing Phil Danaher had more wins by himself than any two coaches combined that I had ever covered prior. Congratulations to a legend on his retirement. #txhsfb https://t.co/cPmxsWkzqE

Sad to see this. Covered quite a few Calallen games during my time in Corpus Christi and Phil Danaher was always very hospitable. He built quite a program there and made lots of deep playoff runs. Unfortunately, that state championship eluded him. https://t.co/iVQK6mnDbm

It’s always a little sad to me when a coach hangs up his whistle for the last time. What a career and what a program though. ❤️https://t.co/ru2Lf8GGjW
