Tennessee high school football scores, live updates from the first round of playoffs in Memphis area

The first round of the TSSAA football playoffs are finally here in Memphis. Postseason games kick off around the state and several Memphis area teams begin their road to Chattanooga.

Several teams begin the postseason at home, including Bartlett who hosts Centennial (8-2) and Houston, which hosts Independence (5-5) on Friday. Germantown and Collierville hit the road to play Ravenwood and Brentwood, respectively. In 5A, Munford (10-0) which has been the top team in Memphis for most the season, hosts Northeast (Clarksville).

In Division II, Memphis University School and Christian Brothers host the first round, while St. Benedict and Briarcrest play on the road this week in Class AAA. In AA, Lausanne gets the first round bye, while Northpoint hosts Davidson Academy and ECS plays Silverdale.
