Teenage boy stabbed at Golden West High School; no arrests made
A teenage boy was stabbed minutes after Visalia high school students were released from class before the weekend.
Around 3:48 p.m. Friday, a fight was reported to Golden West High School's youth services officer. The officer, who oversees the campus and others in the area. responded to the school and found a teenage boy suffering from two stab wounds to the leg.
Police say the boy's attackers were nowhere to be found.
The boy was taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment, Sgt. Mike Short said. It's unclear if the victim is a Golden West High School student.
Violent crimes detectives were also call to the scene to help the department's Youth Services Unit investigate the stabbing.
No arrests were made.
