Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour' is skipping Louisville. Here's where you can see her nearby

If you're a "Swiftie," you'll need to travel outside Kentucky to catch Taylor Swift's upcoming "The Eras Tour."

Fresh off a highly anticipated album release and becoming the first artist in history to occupy all top 10 spots on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, the multi-Grammy Award winner has announced her upcoming U.S. stadium tour will kick off in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona.

"I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!)," Swift wrote on social media with the announcement. "The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!"

Scrolling through the lineup, Swift will be skipping Louisville and Lexington on this tour, and Indianapolis will also be missing out.

Taylor Swift concert: Taylor Swift put on a show to remember at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium

There are a multitude of factors why an artist may bypass a city, and we won't bog you down with all those reasons. Perhaps Swift's management looked back at the artist's last stop in Louisville and wasn't pleased the show didn't sell out?

According to a 2018 review of Swift's "Reputation Tour" by former Courier Journal music writer Jeffrey Lee Puckett, "Papa John's Cardinal Stadium was wall-to-wall Swifties Saturday night, not sold out but close. So let's say around 50,000 fans, which is a ridiculous number, and they lost their collective minds over a show that was both incredibly huge and weirdly intimate."

So, who is down for a road trip?

Swift's closest concert to Louisville will take place at Cincinnati's Paycor Stadium on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She's also performing at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Saturday, May 6, 2023. (But any good Kentuckian knows that's the Kentucky Derby!).

The Midwestern portion of Swift's 2023 tour also includes two Chicago shows (June 2-3), a Detroit stop (June 10), Minneapolis (June 24), and Kansas City (July 8).

Maybe Louisville will be included next time! If you want to get tickets, you'll need to act soon. Pre-sale begins at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15. at Ticketmaster.com.
