Tammy, Amy from TLC's '1000-lb Sisters' were spotted filming at Pensacola Beach
A Pensacola TikTok user posted videos last week showing the stars of TLC’s reality TV show “1000-lb Sisters” on Pensacola Beach along with what appeared to be a filming crew, signaling the potential for a fifth season of the show.
Several members of the Slaton family, including Amanda, Chris, Amy, Misty and Tammy, can be seen in the videos posted by user @mamatgar50 before a crewmember asked them to stop filming.
The user, whose name is “Teresa T” on the platform, inquired about who the crew was filming and was told that “it’s a documentary for tourism” and “handicap accessibility.” When Teresa suggested that it was one of the Slaton sisters from “1000-lb Sisters” the crewmember rebuked it, saying that “a lot of people think that from afar.”

Another TikTok user, @autumnhogan, was able to capture a clearer video where viewers can visually confirm that the crew was filming the Slaton sisters and their family.

Hogan’s compilation video begins with footage of Tammy being pushed toward the Pensacola Beach shoreline on one of its wheelchair-accessible Mobi-Mats, which is non-slip matting that was introduced on the beach in 2019 and gives people with physical disabilities better beach access.
What follows is a series of still images and video clips cut together that provide an up-close look at the stars as they enjoy an afternoon at Pensacola Beach’s emerald waters. The video ends with a selfie of Hogan and Amy holding their children. In a Facebook post, Hogan confirmed that she had to sign a release form and that we may catch her on TV one day.

Tammy posted photos of herself soaking up a Pensacola sunset at what appears to be the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk on her Instagram page on June 21, and Amy posted TikToks of herself with embedded text saying she was Florida bound.
The fourth season of “1000-lb Sisters” wrapped up in March after Tammy married her love interest introduced at the beginning of the season, Caleb Willingham. TLC hasn’t officially announced a fifth season, but the latest sightings should leave fans optimistic about an announcement soon.
