Sweet Capybara Is the Best Nanny to Golden Retriever Puppies
She's just so curious and gentle.
Capybaras are such cool animals. These gentle rodents can grow up to 180 pounds and they are extremely affectionate when kept as pets. They do need access to a swimming pool or pond since they require about half their time spent in water. Another prerequisite is that they have access to adorable puppies, because they sure do seem to like them!
Just joking about that last part, but just look at TikTok user @PrincessGlitterButtercup's adorable capybabra hanging out with a mom Golden Retriever and her newborn litter of puppies. She's just the best babysitter ever!

This adorable video is going viral with over a million views and people just love this dear rodent. @TrinaMarie posts, "She is like 'Babies! Auntie is here, auntie has arrived, here I am!” Awwwww. @Steven adds, "The dog is like 'Thank god the babysitter is here! Hallelujah!' " @Stephiebabieee comments, "It’s like when you just had a baby and the nurse is just doing their routine check in." Too true!
The best comment comes from @Nightmare1sd78 who says, "If the next video isn’t a bunch of puppies sleeping on the capybara I’m going to be sad." Us too! Now that we need to see!
