Son of former Philadelphia Eagle and 94.1 WIP host Hugh Douglas killed in car accident
The son of former Philadelphia Eagle and current 94.1 WIP radio host Hugh Douglas was one of two Morehouse College students killed in a car accident Monday afternoon.
Hugh Douglas and his roommate Christion Files Jr. were killed in the accident in Atlanta, the school announced Tuesday morning. Both were business administration majors set to graduate in 2025.
Douglas was a member of the Morehouse Business Association, an AltFinance Fellow and a Goldman Sachs Fellow, the college said in a statement.
Files served as co-captain of the Morehouse track and field team and was a media chair for the Junior Class Council, and a member of the Morehouse Business Association, the college said.
"Hugh and Christion were not just friends but also roommates during their sophomore year, and their loss is deeply felt by all of us in the Morehouse family," the statement read.
