Snoop Dogg films himself in studio with Kanye West after calling rapper 'brainwashed' over Trump views

Snoop Dogg has been branded a “hypocrite” by some of his fans for after filming himself in the studio with Kanye West, despite the latter’s pro-Trump stance.

In 2018, after West revealed his support for Donald Trump and was photographed wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, Snoop said he had been “brainwashed” and that anyone who supported the Republican politician was “racist”.

However, on Saturday (27 June) a video emerged on Twitter of Snoop, Dr Dre and West together in the recording studio. Snoop can be heard calling West’s music “hot”.

“He’s the biggest hypocrite,” wrote one fan. “He was talking all bad about Kanye when he was wearing MAGA hats now he’s in the Stu with him? Lame as hell.”

Another added: “Uncle Snoop izza Hypocrite. He’s going against his words now. I thought he hated Ye.”

“Didn’t this guy make fun of Kanye like a zillion times, now he acting like a fan,” said another.

Snoop recently said he plans to vote in the US election this year for the first time ever, to get Trump out of office.

“I ain’t never voted a day in my life, but this year I think I’m going to get out and vote because I can’t stand to see this punk in office one more year,” he said in an interview on radio station Real 92.3 earlier this month.
