Singer Stephanie Poetri Wants to Be a TikTok Star and She’s Asking for Charli D’Amelio’s Help
News flash: Stephanie Poetri is a rising pop star and she’s only 19. Like, EXCUSE ME, MA’AM?! When I was her age, I barely knew how to work a vacuum, let alone know what I wanted to do with my life! And since she’s just at the start of her booming music career, we obviously had to prepare her for all the glitz and glamour ahead by making sure her bougie palette was in tip-top shape. In comes our nifty little game called Expensive Taste Test.
The singer started off the game with low expectations—saying she wasn’t “good at things” and thinking she just “wasn’t gonna do well.” You know, that strategy honestly ended up working in her advantage because she shocked herself with her results! First, we gave her headphones because, um, famous musician in our presence. And DUH, she got that round right. We didn’t doubt you on that one, Steph.
For round two, we gave her different types of fanny packs because she is allegedly le fanny pack QUEEN. But you heard it here, folks, we stumped the best of the best. Unfortch, she also wasn’t able to get a diamond when we gave her tennis rackets, but I don’t blame the woman!! She put in her best effort and analyzed the strings and even flailed her arms a bit just to see if she could make the right judgment. A++++ for effort.
Stephanie didn’t let her mini losing streak get in the way though. We had her trying out false lashes and sheet masks, eating sour rainbows, singing in colorful portable karaoke microphones, the works. Not going to ruin anything for you, but...don’t get it twisted with the fanny packs and microphones. Stephanie Poetri *does* have the fancy eye!
