Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East are expecting baby No. 3!
The Iowa-born Olympic gold medalist announced her pregnancy on social media with the caption, "swipe for a surprise," with an emoji. The retired gymnast posed with her baby bump at the Panathenaic Stadium in Greece with the Olympic rings behind her. She even included a link to a new account, @thebabyeast, with a sonogram image but no posts yet.
The couple already has two children, son Jett James, 2, and daughter Drew Hazel, 3.

Now, the couple will have a child to match Johnson East's silver medal count from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, where the gymnast also clinched gold on the balance beam. She won a silver medal for the United States in the team competition and a silver medal in the individual all-around competition and for the floor exercise.
This February, she opened up to the Des Moines Register about motherhood.
"It's definitely difficult to work having kids, but we both find a lot of passion and enjoyment in working," Johnson East said at the time. "So, I feel like it makes us better parents being able to do what we love and then come home and be with our babies."
The Easts wed in spring 2016 in a Tennessee ceremony and Johnson East suffered a miscarriage the following year. Shortly after, Andrew East, a retired NFL player, posted a video of his wife titled "pregnancy and heartbreak," which detailed the pair's struggles.
