Shania Twain Brings a Fiery Look to the CMT Awards Red Carpet
She will be honored with the CMT Equal Play award tonight.
Shania Twain is a lady in red at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
The singer stepped out at country's only entirely fan-voted award show on Sunday, April 2, in a fiery red dress that featured black stripes and a few intricate and bold cutouts alongside her hips. The dress also featured a hip high slit. She opted for black platform shoes to complete the look, along with some diamond rings and bracelets.
While the gown turned heads, she also debuted a ginger hair color that perfectly complemented the gown, which she paired with pink metallic eye makeup and a perfect red pout.

Twain—who released her sixth studio album titled Queen of Me back in February—dominated the red carpet, striking several confident poses and flashing the camera a wide smile.
The 57-year-old has a big night ahead of her as she will be awarded the CMT Equal Play Award given by the network to an “advocate for elevating diverse and underrepresented voices in country music.”
She will join previous recipients Linda Martell and Jennifer Nettles.
"I'm truly honoured to be receiving the @CMT Equal Play Award at the 2023 #CMTAwards this Sunday of course! My trailblazing ways have always got me far in life and now I have the privilege of shining a light on other unquestionable talent," she wrote on Twitter acknowledging the honor.
The awards at Moody Center in Austin, Texas will feature performance from Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Carly Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, and more!
Twain previously played with her style, stepping out in a cheetah print ensemble that channeled the look from her "That Don't Impress Me Much" music video at the People’s Choice Awards in December, where she also opted for a bubblegum pink wig.
