The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought back a familiar face to their defensive front Tuesday, signing veteran pass rusher Carl Nassib to a one-year deal.
Nassib, who notched 12.5 sacks over his previous two-year stint with the Bucs earlier in this career, won’t be wearing the same No. 94 jersey from those years.
Instead, Nassib will wear the No. 93 jersey, most recently donned by fellow defensive linemen Gerald McCoy and Ndamukong Suh.
Nassib will provide the Bucs with some much-needed depth, experience and versatility up front, especially after the loss of outside linebacker Cam Gill to a foot injury.
