Here's everything that happened with Anderson and Pickens area high school football teams in Week 5.
Daniel defeats Riverside for 29th straight win
After getting tested in the first quarter, Daniel pulled away and shut out Riverside for three quarters to win 56-14.
A dynamic performance from Misun Kelley helped the Lions extend the program's record to 29 consecutive wins.
Daniel will play Walhalla (3-2) on the road next week.
Westside keeps rolling with win over Greer
Westside (4-1) won its fourth straight game in the 38-13 victory over Greer (1-5).
The Rams converted 38 first downs to Greer's 13 and had two interceptions to help seal the win.
Westside plays Greenville (2-3) at home next week.
T.L. Hanna handles Laurens
T.L. Hanna (5-1) defeated Laurens 38-7 and have scored at least 31 points in all of its wins.
After leading 10-7, Hanna's run game couldn't be checked as they went on to shutout Laurens the rest of the way.
Next week, T.L. Hanna is on the road at Mauldin.
Easley shuts out Southside
Easley (4-1) demolished Southside (2-3) and won 42-0 behind big performances from quarterback Kalab Sutton and linebacker Noah Pierce.
Easley is now on a four-game win streak heading into the region slate.
Next week, Easley is on the road at Pickens.

Belton-Honea Path keeps on winning
Belton-Honea Path (5-0) remained undefeated with a 44-8 win over Walhalla (3-2).
BHP finished with 460 yards of offense with six touchdowns and quarterback AJ Pendleton only had one incompletion out of 18 passes.
BHP (5-0) plays Powdersville (4-1) next week.
Pendleton edges past Palmetto in overtime
Palmetto (1-4) and Pendleton (4-1) went into overtime and Pendleton arose victorious 27-21 after capitalizing on an interception near the goal line.
Palmetto quarterback Luke Dobbins was sidelined due to injury, and turnovers hindered the Mustangs. Pendleton won the game on third and goal with a rushing touchdown by quarterback Luke Gray.
Next week, Palmetto plays Southside (2-3) and Pendleton plays West Oak (3-2).
Pickens blows by Liberty
Pickens (3-2) defeated Liberty (2-3) 42-7 to snap a two-game losing streak and Liberty has now lost three of the past four games against Pickens.
Next week, Pickens plays Easley (4-1) and Liberty plays Abbeville (3-2).
Crescent falls short to Emerald
Crescent (2-3) lost 17-10 to Emerald (3-2).
Crescent fell behind 17-0 by halftime and couldn't muster up enough offense to rally. Emerald also had possession for 10 minutes longer than the Tigers.
Crescent plays Seneca (4-1) next week.
Wren losses fifth straight game
Wren (0-5) was outmatched by Hillcrest (5-0) and lost 49-0.
Wren's defense couldn't find a way to stop Hillcrest from moving the chains, and three interceptions didn't help the Hurricanes' chances of keeping the game competitive.
Next week, Wren (0-5) plays Fountain Inn (0-5).
