Saturday edition of The Daily Times will be exclusively online beginning March 19

Today marks an important milestone in the history of this newspaper. This is the last Saturday on which The Daily Times will be printed.

Starting next week, the Saturday, March 19, edition will be available exclusively online, through our e-Edition.

If you are a subscriber you already have access to this electronic edition, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

While change can be hard, our industry has evolved dramatically over the past few decade as readers' habits have evolved. Today, most readers access us online. This move is designed to improve those online efforts as we continue to offer print delivery six days a week.

I encourage you to try the e-Edition to enhance your overall experience with the paper. The e-Edition offers everything the daily paper does as well as many extras.

HOW TO: Learn how to use the e-Edition

The e-Edition can be accessed at delmarvanow.com/eedition. It is also available on your mobile device or table through the app The Daily Times eEdition on the App Store of Google Play. You can also easily access the e-Edition in our Daily Briefing newsletter, delivered every morning to your inbox.

The e-Edition is updated early each morning and allows you to:

  • Turn pages or skip to your favorite sections.

  • Save, share and download articles or entire pages.

  • Access archived editions.

  • Listen to articles read aloud.

  • Decrease or increase text size for easy reading.

Your local e-Edition also includes bonus sections and magazines on various topics of interest and USA TODAY content. News Extra and Sports Extra sections are available daily.

In addition, your subscription also gets you access every day to e-Editions of Gannett-owned newspapers across the United States. Your hometown, where you went to college, your favorite vacation spot — we likely have a newsroom near there. You can now read more than 200 USA TODAY newspapers, from The Arizona Republic to The Cincinnati Enquirer to The Palm Beach Post, via our e-Edition app.

You'll soon notice a change to the design and selection of our print puzzles and features. While we are changing our source for some of the puzzles, we'll still have crossword, Sudoku, Jumble, bridge and more. In fact, you'll see a few new offerings, too. Your subscription also comes with ad-free access to the USA TODAY Crossword puzzle. We will no longer carry TV grids, but we will feature a What To Watch on TV column.
