Return of Isaac Likekele, Gene Brown gives Ohio State fully intact roster

For the first time this season, Ohio State will field an intact roster for a men's basketball game.

When the Buckeyes host Alabama A&M for a Thursday afternoon tip, they will regain the services of both Isaac Likekele and Gene Brown III. Brown has not yet played this season while dealing with the effects of a concussion suffered during the preseason, while Likekele started the first eight games before leaving to attend to personal matters back home in Texas.

With Brown and Likekele in uniform, Ohio State will have all 12 scholarship players available.

A third-year wing, Brown averaged 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 26 appearances including 10 starts last season.

Likekele, a graduate transfer from Oklahoma State, was voted one of three team captains during the preseason. He has averaged 4.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 27.5 minutes per game through the first eight games. He was not with the team for games against Rutgers and Maine but did accompany the Buckeyes to Madison Square Garden for a Dec. 17 loss to North Carolina.

While both will be in uniform, it's not clear if Likekele will see game action as he works toward getting back to full game shape.
