Report: Former Michigan football RB Hassan Haskins arrested
Life had been looking up for former Michigan football running back Hassan Haskins. After being a little-known three-star from Eureka (Missouri), he came to Ann Arbor, earned the starting job and set a single-game record in rushing touchdowns against Ohio State in the Wolverines’ first rivalry win in a decade. He was picked in the 2022 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans and was brought to Nashville to back up star tailback Derrick Henry.
However, his future is in jeopardy.
According to a report, Haskins and his girlfriend were arrested due to a domestic violence exchange. Haskins allegedly strangled her. Makiah Green allegedly kicked through a door in their shared home and brandished a firearm. Green threatened to slash his tires and yanked off a $5,000 chain, per the report.
