Rebel Wilson Reveals What She Really Thought About Meghan Markle After Meeting Her

The actress recounted her first impressions of The Duke and Duchess during a recent late-night talk show appearance.

Rebel Wilson is generally known for being honest and straightforward, which is why the star had no problem sharing her true first impression of Meghan Markle when she met her.

While appearing on Friday's episode of Watch What Happens Live, the topic of the royals came up, leading the actress to recount first meeting both Prince Harry and Meghan in Santa Barbara, California.

She told host Andy Cohen that Harry "could not have been nicer," while "Meghan was not as cool." Elaborating, Wilson said that she "wasn't as naturally warm" as her husband.

But the newly-engaged actress pondered whether or not Meghan was affected by Wilson's mother's presence, as Wilson said, "my mom being Australian, just asked her all these slightly rude questions."

Cohen asked Wilson what sort of questions they were, with Wilson giving the example, "Where are your kids?"

The Watch What Happens Live host gave Meghan the benefit of the doubt, saying, "Well, maybe that was why she was standoffish." Wilson agreed, joking that Meghan must've thought, "Who are these annoying convicts from Australia?"

At the end of the conversation, Wilson confirmed again that Harry was "lovely."
