PrideFest, Pride Parade, Crusherfest and other things to do in Milwaukee this weekend

1. PrideFest Milwaukee

Milwaukee PrideFest 2023 officially opens the lakefront festival season at Maier Festival Park this weekend. Main Stage headliners include Betty Who (10:15 p.m. June 2) and Peaches (10:45 p.m. June 3), with more entertainment, food and activities across the Summerfest grounds. PrideFest's hours are 4 p.m. to midnight June 1, 3 p.m. to midnight June 2 and noon to midnight June 3. Admission is $15 June 1 and $25 June 2 and 3, with a three-day pass available for $50. 2. Milwaukee Pride Parade

The Milwaukee Pride Parade, separate but in sync with PrideFest, starts at 2 p.m. June 4 at South Second Street and Greenfield Avenue, marching along Second Street to Seeboth Street. The mile-long parade is free to attend. Info: prideparademke.org.

3. CrusherFest

Crusherfest, the party celebrating the legacy of South Milwaukee native and wrestling legend Reggie “The Crusher” Lisowski, is back, June 3-4 in the South Milwaukee Downtown Market, 1101 Milwaukee Ave. There'll be live music, food, appearances by some popular wrestlers, the popular Mr. Saloon competition and more. 4. Milwaukee Highland Games

Hammer-throwing competitions, sheepdog demonstrations, Scottish music and more are on the agenda at the Milwaukee Highland Games on June 3 at Croatian Park, 9100 S. 76th St., Franklin. The gates open at 9 a.m. Tickets are $10, free for kids 12 and younger and for active members of the military in uniform. Info: milwaukeehighlandgames.org.

5. Party in the Park at Three Bridges Park

Three Bridges Park, 3700 W. Pierce St., is marking its 10th anniversary with a party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 3. Look for guided hikes, music, games, performances, food, family activities and more throughout the former vacant railyard turned nature-friendly green space.
