Popeyes Introduced A New "Girl Dinner" Meal, And I Love That It's Literally Just All Sides
If you've ever voluntarily skipped cooking and instead settled for a random assortment of leftovers or relied on cute snacks to get you through the night, then you have indulged in what has now been referred to as "girl dinner."

Having originated on TikTok when user Olivia Maher dubbed a few pieces of bread, cheese, and grapes her "girl dinner," the trend was later popularized by user Karma Carr with a catchy tune, and now people are sharing images of their girl dinners left and right.

Most recently, Popeyes decided to keep up with the trend by introducing their own version of a girl dinner meal, including mac and cheese, cajun fries, mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, coleslaw, and two biscuits.

The meal option immediately went viral — mostly because people thought it was hilarious that the girl dinner only consisted of sides, which is right on theme.

All in all, I'd say the girl dinner option is pretty viable, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't include options I usually order a la carte anyway. Either way, though, KFC has 24 hours to respond with a corresponding "boy dinner."
