Girls' winners: East Stroudsburg South cheerleading squad's Olivia Vinsky, Brittany Chevannes, Kaylie Kimler, Sophia Ianconetti.

Those climbing and tumbling stunts have garnered some attention for these student athletes.

With their fly-overs and other impressive moves, the four teammates are leading the squad into championship territory — yet again.

The 2019, 2021, and 2022 District XI champs placed third (out of 14 teams) in the EPC league competition held in Easton on Dec. 7.

Boys' winner: Kyon Coles Jr., freshman, Pocono Mountain West basketball.

The guard scored 13 points in the game against East Stroudsburg South on Dec. 9.

A player to keep your eye on this season, his defensive and offensive moves on the court contributed to the Panther's 68-43 win over the Cavaliers.

With Coles Jr., on the team, the Panthers are now 5-0 and 3-0 in the EPC Division.
