Pink is playing Milwaukee's American Family Field for Summer Carnival stadium tour

Bernie Brewer, you have your answer.

Pink will be dancing and singing, and almost certainly flying, at the Brewers’ American Family Field Aug. 14.

The pop superstar announced a North American stadium tour Monday, a little over a week after the Brewers teased a Milwaukee concert at the stadium.

Joining her are recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, plus the pop band Grouplove and Milwaukee native DJ KidCutUp.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at livenation.com. Prices have yet to be announced. Citi and Verizon customers will have access to presales beginning Wednesday.

On Nov. 5, the Bernie Brewer Twitter account posted a picture of the mascot holding up a sign that read, “Pink Will You Dance With Me?,” a nod to her latest single “Never Gonna Not Dance Again.”

The Brewers reposted the tweet, but Pink herself was mum on any tour news — until this Sunday. A video circulated Twitter listing a phone number, where Pink told callers she had big news coming soon for her North American fans.

This will be Pink’s first stadium show in Milwaukee. She last played the city at a sold-out Fiserv Forum in May 2019. According to concert trade magazine Pollstar, it was the second highest-grossing concert in Milwaukee that year, grossing $2,336,581 with 13,331 tickets sold.

Before that, she ended a three-year touring hiatus at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater for Summerfest in 2017.

Balancing powerhouse vocals with Cirque du Soleil-style acrobatics — including a one-of-a-kind finale in which she literally flies around — Pink’s Summerfest show ranked sixth on the Journal Sentinel’s list of the greatest Milwaukee concerts of the 2010s. (Her Fiserv Forum show was fifth on the Journal Sentinel’s list of best concerts in 2019.)

This marks the second 2023 concert announcement for the Brewers ballpark. Last month, king of country George Strait announced his first tour since 2014, a run of six stadium shows that includes his first Milwaukee appearance since 2009. Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town will open all concerts on the tour, including the June 3 show in Milwaukee.
