Peso Pluma sells out second metro Phoenix date on 1st US tour in 30 minutes
Corrido tumbado sensation Peso Pluma is about to embark on his first-ever tour of the United States, which now includes a second sold-out metro Phoenix concert.
The initial tour announcement included a Saturday, July 22, date at Arizona Financial Theatre in downtown Phoenix with special guest Alemán.
The singer than added a date at the much larger Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale the following day — Sunday, July 23, also with Alemán.
That second show sold out in 30 minutes.
Recently named one of Billboard’s Latin Artists on the Rise, the Mexican hip-hop star has more than 19 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 193 million YouTube views. He's also sent nine singles up the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, including three Top 10 hits.
He has collaborated with contemporaries such as Natanael Cano, Gabito Ballesteros and Luis R. Conriquez, as well as expanding his scope by linking up with urbano figures such as Ovy On The Drums and Nicki Nicole.
Pluma aims to take corridos — a century-old Mexican song tradition that recently has received renewed interest by fusing itself with trap, hip-hop and urbano — further than ever before.

Produced by Live Nation, the 16-city Doble P Tour launches Thursday, July 20 at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, making stops in Denver, Houston, Seattle and several other cities — including Phoenix on Saturday, July 22 at Arizona Financial Theatre and Glendale at Desert Diamond Arena on Sunday, July 23 — before wrapping in Anaheim at Honda Center on Friday, Oct. 20.
